Over 18 years ago, Rob began his law practice representing insurance companies and other corporations. For the first several years, he worked for 2 larger law firms defending these corporate clients in state and federal court in South Carolina and Tennessee. However, for the last 14+ years, Rob has been focused on representing individuals and businesses as plaintiffs in a wide variety of contract, tort and property matters in South Carolina. Having litigated cases on “both sides of the fence,” he has a broad understanding of the numerous claims/defenses asserted by the various parties.
Since opening Hadden Law Firm, LLC in 2008, Rob has continued to be a lawyer focused on a few basic things: providing excellent legal representation, candid advice and real value to his clients.
When he is not practicing law, Rob enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating, playing tennis and watching his children play sports.
After growing up in Kingsport, Tennessee, Rob attended Wake Forest University. While in college, he played on the tennis team and majored in History. As a result of his academic performance, Rob made the Dean’s List and All-ACC Academic Honor Roll. Following his undergraduate education, he received his law degree from Mississippi College. During law school, Rob was chosen as a Member of the Moot Court Board, the National Trial Team and the National Appellate Advocacy Team. He also received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Practice.
Previous Community Involvement
Rob has been an active participant in his community. Specifically, he has served on the Board of Directors for Meals-on-Wheels, coached high school students in a mock trial competition and served as a coach for youth basketball and soccer.
Rob is a Member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Charleston County Bar Association. He is also a Member of the Community Association Institute, where he previously served on the Tri-County Regional Advisory Council for the Lowcountry.
Rob has been a regular speaker for numerous seminars and panels sponsored by the Community Association Institute of South Carolina. He has also spoken on Securities Fraud for the South Carolina Association of CPA’s, and he has appeared on the local CBS affiliate television station to address Securities Litigation issues for their Legally Speaking segment.

Rob is licensed to practice law in all state courts in South Carolina and Tennessee. He is also admitted to practice before the following federal courts: the U.S. District Court for South Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
