Rob Hadden

Rob grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee, and he has lived in the Charleston area for over 20 years.

Rob's father has been a trial lawyer for over 50 years. Having looked up to him and watched him in the courtroom since a young age, Rob knew he always wanted to be a trial attorney.

Rob earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 1993. During college, he played on the tennis team and earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll. Rob then received his law degree from Mississippi College in 1997. In law school, he was extremely active in various oral advocacy competitions: the National Trial Team, Moot Court Board and the National Appellate Advocacy Team. During his final year of law school, Rob received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Practice.

Following law school, he represented insurance companies and corporations for almost 5 years. While that experience has served him well representing plaintiffs, Rob did not enjoy being on that "side of the fence." For the last 20+ years, he has been focused on his passion: representing individuals and businesses as plaintiffs in an effort to recoup damages caused by the negligence, fraud or misconduct of other parties.

Rob is married with three children, and he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Rob has been an active member of his community during his legal career, having served on the Board of Directors for Meals-on-Wheels, coached youth sports, mentored a high school mock trial team and been a member of the South Carolina and Charleston County bar associations.

Rob is licensed to practice law in all state courts in South Carolina and Tennessee. He is also admitted to practice before the following federal courts: the U.S. District Court for South Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the 4th and 6th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.

He has spoken around South Carolina on numerous litigation issues at various seminars and panel discussions for the South Carolina Chapter of the Community Association Institute. Additionally, he has spoken on Securities Fraud for the South Carolina Association of CPA's, and he has appeared on the local CBS affiliate television station to address securities litigation issues for their legal segment.

Since opening Hadden Law Firm in 2008, Rob has continued to be a lawyer focused on a few basic things: providing excellent legal representation, candid advice and real value to his clients.
